What does the Starbucks Calorie Calculator include?
This independent Starbucks drink calorie calculator adds the published calories of selected default US hot drinks. Six drinks are supported: Caffè Americano, Caffè Latte, Cappuccino, Caffè Mocha, Caramel Macchiato and Flat White. Each has its own Short, Tall, Grande and Venti data. A larger size is not estimated by multiplying a smaller cup.
The menu snapshot was retrieved on 6 November 2026 from the official US menu data. It is a defined selection rather than a complete or live menu. Custom recipe mode lets you enter a full drink’s calories from a reliable label or app when your order is outside those presets.
How to calculate Starbucks order calories
Select a default recipe in an order row and enter a whole quantity from 1 to 10. Use up to four rows for different drinks or sizes; leave unused rows unselected. In custom mode, enter calories per complete serving, including every ingredient you intend to count. Press Calculate to draw the accepted values.
A preset already includes its default recipe ingredients. Do not add their calories again. Changing milk, syrup, foam, whip, temperature or recipe can change nutrition; this tool does not infer those adjustments. If you switch to a customized recipe, use its full custom calorie value instead of adding it to a preset.

Drink calorie formula and size-specific values
For each row, calories = published or entered calories per serving × quantity. The order total is the sum of these row totals. Short hot drinks are 8 US fl oz, Tall 12, Grande 16 and Venti 20. Values are published serving estimates, not laboratory measurements of your individual cup.
The six default Grande values in this snapshot are 15 kcal for Americano, 190 for Latte, 140 for Cappuccino, 370 for Mocha, 250 for Caramel Macchiato and 220 for Flat White. Recipe ingredients differ: do not assume one milk choice or topping configuration applies to every drink. Check the linked menu entry for its default build.
How to read the calorie chart
The main answer is total estimated order calories in kilocalories, the unit normally called food Calories. Each bar represents one order row including its quantity. All bars share one scale from zero, so a 380 kcal row has twice the width of a 190 kcal row. Zero-calorie custom rows have zero filled width and keep a readable label.
Drink servings and row count answer different questions. Two Grande lattes on one row count as two servings and one row. The graph does not show daily requirements, a calorie allowance or whether an order is appropriate for an individual.

Worked example: latte and Americano order
Two default Grande hot Caffè Lattes contribute 190 × 2 = 380 kcal. One default Grande hot Americano contributes 15 × 1 = 15 kcal. The order total is 395 kcal across three servings. The chart compares 380 and 15 on the same scale.
For a custom recipe listed as 225 kcal per serving, three servings contribute 675 kcal. That entry replaces a preset for that recipe; it is not a modifier to add on top. If the recipe value changes, update it and calculate again.

Menu, customization and nutrition limitations
Recipes, availability, serving practices and labels can change or differ by country. This snapshot supports hot default US recipes only; it does not claim coverage of iced drinks, Frappuccinos, seasonal specials, food, all milk options or arbitrary syrup pumps. Verify a current order with Starbucks.
Published calorie labels are rounded and real preparation varies. The tool totals those values rather than inventing exact customized nutrition. Custom calories accept 0–5,000 kcal per serving with up to two decimal places. It does not assess allergens, caffeine, medical diets or food safety. This site is independent of Starbucks.
Optional nutrition reference books (paid link) may support record keeping or independent checks. No purchase is required to use this calculator.
