Select each ingredient explicitly, including tortillas, chips or dressing. One portion is the named serving in the published US PDF. Real scoops may vary; this is not an allergen assessment.

What does the Chipotle Nutrition Calculator estimate?

This independent Chipotle bowl and burrito nutrition calculator totals 25 named US components from the published nutrition facts PDF. It estimates calories, protein, carbohydrate, fat and sodium using the selected number of standard portions. It does not assume that every real scoop has exactly the listed weight.

Build a bowl by selecting its contents; no bowl calories or tortilla are added automatically. For a burrito, explicitly include one burrito flour tortilla as well as the fillings. Taco flour and crispy corn tortillas are separate single-tortilla entries. Chips, dressing and entrée queso are separate components too.

How to build a meal with ingredient portions

Every component starts at zero. Choose 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 or 3 standard portions for the ingredients you want to include. Each field states the PDF serving size, such as 4 oz rice or 1 oz cheese. A half portion means half that listed serving, not a promise about how a restaurant serves a light scoop.

Select at least one component, calculate, and review the calorie chart beside the nutrient totals. Editing a portion clears the previous results. Ingredients not selected remain zero. Use the current official calculator for an item missing from this defined snapshot; do not substitute a nutritionally different ingredient.

Ingredient nutrition and meal-total formula

Each ingredient contributes its published value multiplied by the portion multiplier. Calories are added to calories, grams to the same nutrient’s grams and sodium milligrams to sodium milligrams. The builder preserves fractional contributions rather than rounding each ingredient first.

The source PDF contains rounded nutrition labels. Calories may therefore differ from a reconstruction using 4 kcal/g protein, 4 kcal/g carbohydrate and 9 kcal/g fat. The calculator uses the published calorie column directly and does not force a pie chart to make those separate rounded values reconcile.

How to understand the ingredient calorie diagram

The calorie bars share one zero-based scale and show each selected ingredient’s contribution. They show energy only. Protein, carbohydrate and fat cards use grams; sodium uses milligrams. Adding those displayed numbers together would mix different quantities.

Large portions can create high totals and are retained as entered assumptions. The output describes the selected components rather than a daily target, dietary prescription, exact restaurant serving or allergen assessment. A regular chip portion is 4 oz in this snapshot; it is not a large bag.

Worked example: chicken, rice, beans and salsa

One portion each of chicken, white rice, black beans and fresh tomato salsa gives 180 + 210 + 130 + 25 = 545 kcal. The same four components contribute 44 g protein, 66 g carbohydrate, 12.5 g fat and 1,420 mg sodium using the published rows.

Adding one burrito flour tortilla adds 320 kcal, taking that selection to 865 kcal. Half the chicken portion contributes 90 kcal and 16 g protein. Every other selected ingredient remains unchanged. These examples explain the portion arithmetic; actual restaurant amounts can vary.

Serving variation, source coverage and allergies

Data comes from the official US PDF whose filename ends US-Nutrition-Facts-Paper-Menu-3-2025.pdf, retrieved on 6 November 2026. This filename is not a claim that all menu products remain current. Seasonal items and other countries can differ. Source links allow you to check the current published information.

The builder does not cover every side size, limited-time protein, beverage or children’s meal. The 2 oz entrée queso portion is distinct from a 4 oz side with separately rounded values. Portion multipliers scale the selected row; they do not substitute for a different published menu row. Do not use this calculator to establish allergen safety.

Optional nutrition reference books (paid link) may support record keeping or independent checks. No purchase is required to use this calculator.
